Transition slot in secondary rod
« on: August 16, 2024, 07:47:12 AM »
So I decided to change my secondary rods from DA to the AX rods I had from the carb that used to be on the car. Just wanted it a tiny bit fatter, no other real issue with the carb.

Anyways, I noticed a little slit cut out on the AX rod right at the fat end by the seat area. All I could figure was that this was for a little extra fuel during the transition. These are a factory rod AFAIK.

Anyone else seen that before?

Very Cool, thanks. Was that for a certain style or year? I have several set of secondary rods and this is the only set with the slot.
