Idle tube damage

I dismantled my carb. and removed the idle tubes and collar as advised in the book. The both came out with relative ease. One of them was fine, however I noticed that the second one was missing the "restriction" on the bottom end of the tube. It seems to be stuck in the well where the tubes are inserted. Its too narrow to get a light into and see at the same time.
since the collars were removed, I placed them back in the slots and they were even heights, so that tells me that it is still down there. Will dipping it in carb dip loosen it up? Anyone have a suggestion on how to remove it?

Marc, we sell new idle tubes off the website.

It may not be stuck and just fell into the bottom of well.

You can "rod" around with a stiff wire to make sure it's loose and blow the carb out .

In the very worst case scenarios I've had to remove the front plugs to get idle tubes out when customers have driven them WAY too deep, or broken/lodged them in the bottom of the casting.....Cliff

In fact I did purchase the HP rebuild kit, so yes I do have those new tubes. I am going to give it a go this weekend, hopefully I can fish it out or blow it out from the back.
