I think you would have to have a complete list with all specs. If anything. the gasket between the
baseplate and the main housing would be specific to the bore. If you could differentiate tne specific gasket and determine which carb it was used on, this would tell you what size the carb would be but this would still need a list. Some of this info is hard to find. The easy way is to just call cliff. (he has those lists and info). I just look through the primary bore and look for the "bump". (at swap meets and yards etc.). Any way there are really only 2 carb sizes for all practical purposes. approx. 750 and 800.
