Wanted: exhaust crossover runner for ford 429CJ to Q-Jet divorced choke

Hey, I know this is a long shot, but you never know.  The '70-'71  Ford 429CJs used a sheet metal part that bridged the gap between the DOOE Cylinder Head exhaust crossover and the housing for the Quadrajet divorced choke. It attached to underside of the CJ intake manifold. I had to rebuild my engine 2 years ago and lost this part.  Been running it that way with the predictable delay in the choke fully opening.  Would love to find this missing part and get things back to the way they were.  Mr. Ruggles redid my throttle bores 12.5 years ago and the old carb is still going strong!  Thank you for any leads!

Thanks alot!  I don't have my hopes up.  I put feelers out on some Ford 429 sites and a Torino Forum but they pretty much don't even acknowledge this part existed.  I wish I had taken a photo of it. It just clips onto the bottom of the intake manifold, about 4-5" long, sheet metal, looks like a Y but with the open part of the Y on both ends. It is a tunnel. Best chance of finding it would be from someone who long ago discarded the CJ iron intake manifold and never knew this part was attached to the underside.  It would be awesome if I found it via this site!

h&s i got ahold of my buddy today. he thinks he threw all the 429cj manifolds away because they used a quadrajet. he's a holley man.he said he would dig threw his stuff and see what he could find.he got about 30 manifolds to dig through. the guys 70 (nothing against old folks)im not so young ether.i sold him one of my 1970 429's today hes going to rebuild it for a 53 pickup. ill let you know if he finds something.oh on another note he gave the quads to another guy i need to track down and see if hell sell me the carbs. dean
