What the heck do I have??? Carb # 7028280
« on: February 28, 2014, 03:22:52 PM »
Hello all. I took a Q-jet off of my 1970 chevy 4x4, 350cid when I switched to HEI ignition. It has no vacuum ports other than the choke pull off? I threw a edelbrock on just to set the timing etc. What is this carb off of? Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you for the welcome and the reply! This carb ran great with the points distributor. I guess I'll have to look for another Q jet to replace this one with. Thanks again for the help!

You could add a port in the rear of the base plate for manifold vacuum.
