« on: July 25, 2014, 12:46:35 PM »
1967 GTO BRACKET MOTOR, LAST YR. RAN FLAWLESS. 17056240, running of jets only 66,s no power spring or rods. Main air blead on top of carb. is .070, K secondary hanger with CH rods short .058 dia.  At idle i have no control over the idle system.
Are theMain air bleed to small on top of carb.??? Starts right up, just have no control of the idle or air idle screws when idling.
Running small float with a .135 needle & seat from Cliff. Set at 1/4, opened secondary fuel wells as in book. Same with pick up tubes. I have a 3/4 spacer under carb. this yr. to RPM manifold. 373 gears with auto trans.
