Please recheck last digit. I see a 17058278 or 17058272.

Hi Ethan , I've gone back and checked , it's correct . The full stamp is   17058273   ,   1038  ,  CHN  .
Let me know what you think .
Thanks .

That carb number does not exist. Original or aftermarket. I have seen several Quadrajets where the 8 was "lightly" stamped and appeared as a 3.

17058278 specs were .072" Primary Jets, 45K Primary Metering Rods, "K" Secondary Hanger and DB Secondary Metering Rods.

Yes Ethan , I think your right again . On closer inspection (with magnifying glass) it does look like a mis-stamped "8" , that looks like a "3" .
Thanks again .

Not a problem. You have to remember, from the factory, they used a gang stamper. They put more pressure on one side of the stamper, might cause it to look like a different number. I have seen several cases of this. Also, the angle they had to stamp the numbers, was not as easy either.  8)

I get all my info from the BIG AC DELCO books. You know, the one that is about 10" thick.  ;D
