Broke tiny drill bit in main body.
« on: January 18, 2016, 08:33:40 AM »
New to forum.  I have purchased Cliffs book and a rebuild kit from him.  Trying to build a 17084227 for my 70 Chevelle.  I broke a tiny .02 drill bit off in a passage.  See pic.  How can I get it out or repair? What is this passage called that has the brass in center of the booster? Thank you Mike

I use really tiny picks and magnets to get bits back that have broken. Unless your bit in question is not magnetic...then im sorry i would pick and shake with a vengeance!

 Welcome to CHP!

I also think the above post would work. Do you have access to an ultrasonic cleaner? Just thinking the waves might knock it free and clean out debris. At least you would be killing two birds with one stone. :)
