17081227 help please
« on: August 24, 2016, 07:49:10 AM »
Hi,

I'm looking for information on this carb (17081227) I just picked up. Hoping to use it on a Jeep with an AMC 304. Don't know what vehicle the carb came from. Some online hits suggest maybe a 1981 manual 305 Suburban? Any additional information would be appreciated.

Thanks. Do you have any information on what the original jets / metering rods would have been?

Sorry, but after 1980, GM did not put information in manuals about the metering rods and jet sizes. Kind of a bummer. Occasionally I will have some info after 1980, but not this one unfortunately. Sorry.
