Turn Around Time for Carb Work Update
« on: September 30, 2016, 03:35:55 AM »
We are nearly caught up in the shop, which hasn't happened since we opened in 2003!

We made this possible as we are taking in less restoration work, which takes considerable time, effort and funds and just bogs us down in the shop.

We are planning on getting out of the restoration business anyhow, due to the high cost of the materials needed, and countless hours required to get everything plated, zinc/chromated, etc.

We will be still be doing restorations for a while, but will at some point pull the plug on that deal, most likely after this Winter.

Anyhow, the big pile of carburetors in the shop is down to just a few, so if you are on our list you will be getting a call.  If you want to get on the list, now is a good time to call us....tks....Cliff

Update.  We've taken in quite a bit of work this year, so are now out to about 3 months turn-around time, unless you have a Marine carb, or a nice clean rebuild, or fully restored unit that you can't get to work correctly, we are still doing those much quicker than full rebuilds and restorations.......Cliff
