Please Read This IF you are sending a Carb to us.

For some reason folks are continuing to send carburetors here, or parts of them for rebuilding or repairs, and NOT putting any information in the shipment anyplace.

I'm not sure why this happens, probably part of the ways of "modern" thinking assuming that because they called or emailed us that we took detailed notes or printed out their spec sheets, and have them waiting in the shop for their carburetors arrival.

Nothing could be further from the truth.  We get thousands of emails and talk to hundreds of potential customers every month.  I take some notes and have a good memory, but we MUST delete all the emails daily or the Inbox if flooded with them.

When you decide to send something here, whether it be a baseplate for bushings, main casting for a heli-coil, or a carburetor for a complete rebuild/restoration, please include ALL of your information with the part or carburetor.

This will include:

Name and return shipping address.

Contact phone number(s).

What you have sent and why it is here?

ALL of the engine/drivetrain/vehicle specifications.  Don't hold back, the more information the better as it helps us nail down the exact calibration.

At a very minimum ALWAYS include a phone number if you forgot or don't know all the details.  At least we can call and get as much information as we can.

Assuming that we have any old emails that we exchanged and can go find them is simply not happening.  This isn't because we delete them, it's more often because very few folks use their full name in the account address.  John Smith is probably going to be 67ImpalaSS396@gmail.com instead of johnsmith67@gmail.com.  So trying to find him is very time consuming, and difficult if not next to impossible if there is NOTHING in the box with his carburetor.

Bottom line here is that anything sent here w/o a note will sit untouched until you call and check on it.  We're consuming/wasting WAY too many hours searching for the owners of items that have been sent here with no information.

Thanks for listening......Cliff
