Power Piston Disassembly
« on: June 10, 2018, 11:01:36 AM »
The plastic retainer for my power piston is shot.  The kit (Cliff's) contains a new retainer, but obviously the piston needs the hanger [pulled out.  How?  Not sure muscling it out is the way to go.

I just put a flat piece if steel across the top of the carb body and use a screwdriver to pop it out. Just have it as close to the post as possible

No need to take it apart, the new retainer is "split" to slide over the hanger........Cliff

Cliff, I saw the split, but didn't realize it went all the way through.  I will replace it.  Thanks!
