In need of a hot air choke housing
« on: June 12, 2018, 11:29:15 AM »
I'm restoring a 1978 Firebird QuadraJet (17088276) that I purchased on eBay.  While disassembling I found that the choke housing was broken.  The part number on the housing is 17050793.  Does anyone have an extra they would sell?

 Thanks,

Jay

The carburetor part number should be 17058276.  We may have a few of those in the shop, getting a bit difficult to obtain as most will be broken or the threads stripped out where the heat tube screws on.

If you are restoring the carb I would recommend one of our rebuild kit, correct choke pull-off with the straight inlet, and we have OEM type black zinc fasteners for them as well......Cliff
