Air Fuel rato at cursing speed

I have a 68 GTO with a 400 and Cliff rebuilt the quadrojet about 4 years ago. I can't remember what the A\F's were at the time but I remember they looked good.  They are currently;
Idle - 13.6, WOT - 12.3, and cruise - 15.5.  I think the cruise is too lean.  I turned the power piston screw 1\2 turn left (loosen) and it really didn't do anything.  How do I adjust the cruise A\F?  I'm trying to get it around 14.0.  Thanks!

Very good place to be if you have an efficient engine and working vacuum advance.  A/F at light throttle can be even leaner, depends on many factors and we ALWAYS go by engine performance not reading a meter.

The best way to tune with a meter is to put a piece of black tape over it, fine tune the APT for best throttle response, engine power for "normal" driving, smooth off idle, fuel economy, etc.  When you nail down the best settings remove the tape and look at the readings.  These are your "base-line" numbers and often you'll see 15 to 17 A/F depending on engine load, throttle position, vehicle speed, etc......Cliff
