No, it is not the same type of carburetor so very few parts interchange.
I would get one of our SR rebuild kits for the Caddy carburetor and spend the time on that unit. It is calibrated exactly for the application, and everything is a perfect fit.
Adding to that every Quadrajet part number sports and exact calibration for the application it was originally used on.
We ALWAYS try to use the original unit unless it is missing or damaged. Even when I'm building them and find damaged components, like a cracked main casting for example, I'll try to locate the same part number in the core pile to use as a replacement. There are small differences in the castings that go beyond which jets and metering rods they used, same with the baseplates and airhorns, so it is always best when working with stock applications to use the original carburetor and all of it's components when possible.......Cliff
