Where can I buy the o-ring/seal for the fuel inlet nut?

Late 70's size with the 1" threads.

I have seen them at local parts retail stores in the Dorman HELP section. Not sure what the quality of the washer is. Surely you can a high quality washer from Cliff

A fiber washer is used on the early units thru 1971 and all Marine till end of production, size is 7/8"-20 threads and the sealing is done on the back of the fuel filter housing nut where it meets the casting.

The 1972 and later units used larger 1"-20 threads and they moved the seal to the bottom of the threads to keep the threads out of the fuel.  Those use a white plastic seal.

They never used "O" rings.
