Drag Race carb. only should metal baffle be removed??

Dag Race cars, would it be beneficial to remove the steel metal  baffle in the secondary area of the carb.??? It  slides it.

Never remove it for any reason the carb will not work correctly.  It is there to create a pressure differential and improve signal to the fuel nozzles.  I've seen folks leave them out then come up with poor numbers on the dyno that come right back when the baffle was put back in......Cliff

Thank You for your answer, i take it shortening the fuel nozzles does not help either correct??

They need to extend out past the divider and making them shorter doesn't make them work any better from what I've seen......
