What are these seals for?
« on: May 09, 2020, 03:03:15 PM »
What are these for?  They look like three rubber scraper ring type seals and a nylon shaft bushing, but not sure what their purpose is.  I'm guessing the bushing is for the air valve shaft on the secondaries, but not sure about the rubber seals.

Yep, definitely missed that in the first assembly (I think I'm on number three or four now).  Thanks!

The rubber seals are for the choke housing and the choke shaft where it goes into the main casting.

The plastic split collar replaces the solid collar on the power piston.....

Does the rubber seal go on the inside of the carb body or the outside?

one goes outside before the choke housing bolts on. the other goes IN the choke housing before the choke shaft gets installed.
