I bought you guys/gals book "how to rebuild and modify q-jets i have rebuilt hundreds of q-jets but never did much modifing to the circuts til getting your book i rebuilt my first q-jet recipe #3 for a 450 HP SBC and it runs like it is fuel injected SWEET i do have 1 problem crusing at low speeds and give it a little more gas it flutters a second or 2 befor catching up and taking off not sure what is causing this any ideas.

17080213 carb no.
cam in my engine is 292 duration 533 valve lift 38* advance all in.

The flutter i am experiencing is in the primary circut the secondaries come in great and strong with no hesitation or bog you call on them and they are just there and my face kinda looks like this  :o
any ideas would be great thanks Cliff for the book and forum it has given me a new lease on the q-jet

I also have another core 800cfm 17080213
as well as a 750 i am going to rebuild and modify next.I would love to get a q jet to run on my 350 drag motor but it has @ 550 HP plus a 200 shot of NOS everytime i have tried to run a q-jet on this engine it sucks it dry and my car just starts bucking.I  currently have a 850 DB i modded it will run on this motor but would replace it with a q-jet in a hurry if i can get one to run on it.
