Need more info.

On a cold start do you have fast idle?

Is the choke hot-air or electric?

When you move the throttle on a cold engine does the choke flap snap shut and does the fast idle cam raise to the highest position?

When you say "rebuilt" did someone rebuild the original carb or is it commercially "remanufactured"?

What is the carburetor part number?

17083224 is the carb # and it does have a fast idle when cold but to fast . I can kick it quickly and it will slow down but to slow , stalls. Has a divorce choke hooked up now and has pull offs also I haven't tried playing around with it yet but I think I may just as well plan on a electric choke to get it as close to working properly as poss. ? What would parts cost approx for this if anything would fit ? Thanks

I sell an electric choke conversion kit with instructions, USA made:

This part "clocks" correctly with the terminal down and lifetime warranty.  Comes with everything needed to do the install including the connector for the wiring....
