Power piston spring assortment kit, stock spring choice
« on: January 27, 2025, 08:33:47 AM »
I got the 4 power piston assortment pack from Cliff, because the spring looked damaged in this 17080213 carb

Is the blue spring the stock spring for this carb

I read if you have lower idle vacuum because of a "lumby" cam you want a lighter power piston spring so it pulls down the power piston all the way

My cam in this 350 sm block chevy is a RV type cam and has a slight lope at idle: @.050- duration 214 int. 214 ex. , lobe centers 105 int. , 115 ex. , lobe separation 110,  Valve lift .443 int. .443 ex.

Will that cam effect/lower idle vacuum?

Which spring out of the assortment should I use
