Hello All,
I am generally clueless about carbs, but I am not beyond learning something new and taking a chance at something (like a rebuild) with proper guidance. I already have the Haynes Rochester book, and I am now considering Cliff's book. OK, I'll admit it - I'm cheap too! So, if I can save a some real money doing it myself I'll try.
I recently bought a '72 Buick 350-4bbl from a California car. I live in Florida, and I am putting the motor in a '67 Skylark, so I have no emissions issue. I plan to find a replacement intake from '71 or earlier as a start.
So, here's my question: Do I need to get an earlier year carb as well, or can I rebuild the one I have and somehow cap off or re-route the EGR aspects?
Thanks,
Joe M.
