quadrajet identification.
« on: March 06, 2012, 03:52:29 PM »
I have a Quadrajet i need to rebuild but it has no identification numbers on it. The round casting for the metal tag is absent and the flat area on the main body above secondary throttle shaft is smooth. It has a divorced choke, side fuel inlet and looks similar to carburetor on pg 8 of HOW TO REBUILD AND MODIFY ROCHESTER QUADRAJET  CARBURETORS. It is on a 66 Olds Cutlass 330 with automatic transmission.

Side fuel inlet were used on Chevrolet's and a few other makes. Do you have a pic of the carb? Are you sure there is no numbers on it?
