you GM guys can buy most of your custom parts . us ford guys have to build them.

sorry guys i tried to make it bigger but it wouldn't let me. this is on top of a 429 ford 800 quad. 17080212 in a 1972 ford ltd.i didnt want to use a spacer to fit the quadrajet so i installed an edelbrock manifold. then i ran into a hood clearance so i got with my buddy and we built this. its all alumium tig welded together.just thought id pass this along in case some else runs into this problem . dean

Cool. Ford made a few 429 spread bore intakes, pretty sure 1970 and 71. There is actually enough material on some of the later 460 EGR intakes to modify them for use without an adapter. I like the dual air intake filter set-up!.....Cliff
