fuel injection to carb

need some help from you chey goroos. 1993 chevy 350 can you pull the intake and throttle body off and bolt on a (example 85 aluminum manifold and quad )will it fit or do you have to cut the manifold etc? thanks in advance.

    I believe its 1987 thru 1995. The 1986 and earlier are the same. Actually the intakes will fit but the bolt holes are different (I think they changed the center 2 on each side to a different angle but not 100% sure). So if you can find a 1987 thru 1995 intake you will be good. Actually you could use the earlier intake but the bolt holes will need a little "massaging".  From '96 on, all the bolts are straight up and down and there are less of them. I think summit sells a retrofit kit to mount an earlier intake on a 87-95 head. It uses some angled shims and longer bolts. I remember reading this in car-craft.

thanks omaha. i took the no. off the aluminum manifold its a GM and what i can find out its off a 91 camaro. so what your telling me is it should bolt right on (angle of heads etc.)and all i have to do is worry about a couple of bolts in the middle?

heck if its a 91 you should be good to go!!  it'd be in that 87-95 range when they made the TBI engines. its the 96 and newer where you have the problems. (those are the "vortec"s) they are totally different.
