Pump discharge holes
« on: December 16, 2013, 10:30:39 AM »
I have carb #1708500 and the holes are drilled to about .050 on the inside restriction and the outside hole in the air horn.  Can this be fixed?  If so how the inside or outside or do both have to be resized?

The pump discharge holes are located in the inside partition, doesn't matter how big the outer partition measures.  .050" is WAY too big, they should be around .026" to .030" or so.  It is possible to repair those holes by tapping them for a tiny brass set screw and drilling it for the correct size, bit it is a difficult repair....Cliff
