My friend has this carb and was wondering if it should be saved for a #'s correct restoration, or should I go ahead and modify it for one of my projects?

Yeah, I just scored some '77 Q-jets. Think I will tell him to keep it and let a restoration have it. [He's going to go fuel injected.]
