I have two '85 Monte SS's. I chose this generation because of the weight advantage and the fact they come with an overdrive. One I installed a Tremec 5-speed. Love all Montes.....

I was never a huge fan of the 76-77 style, but I've got to admit - that is one nice looking Monte!!!
