is there a correct way to make sure the rod hangers are perfectly even? also is there a dimension from the bottom of the piston to the center of the hangar hole that can be measured. any pictures of a go-nogo gauge? thanks

I spend a LOT of time in that area when I assemble these carburetors.  About 8 out of 10 times the hanger arms are bent from the last rebuild, so we need to make sure they are level and exactly even.  I simply bend the arms as close to level as possible, then bring the rod tips together to make sure they are exactly even.  This take some time, but is a requirement when building these carburetors, especially for the later APT models.....Cliff
