Anyone have any methods for boiling carburetors at home? I can't get carb dip locally was hoping maybe I could do a solution in a pot and boil the parts at home (outside). Any other cleaning methods? I was also thinking maybe a cheap ultrasonic cleaner. Thanks!

Ultra sonic is the best method these days, and easiest on the castings.
I'm not or ever have been fond of chemical cleaning much beyond degreasers or dawn dish soap, etc.....Cliff

What Cliff said. Ultrasonic cleaning is the best and safe method for cleaning ALL carburetors, as they clean them thoroughly and efficiently.
