What car is this linkage for ?

Marx3:
I noticed that the baseplate on a 17058276 I am selling, has a hole in the front, for the third screw that came on later units, but the body does not have a threaded hole there.
I am assuming the baseplate is not the original one for this 17058276.
I am also assuming that I can use the baseplate on the this carb, with no trouble. I checked to see if the gasket sealed up well to both body and baseplate and it looks like there will be no vacum leak and all channels have passage.
Does this linkage look like something out of a Pontiac?

Cliff would be the man to answer this. Never seen one like that, I don't think.

Aww shoot. With my luck it is some gremlin out of a late 80's motor home :-)
I heard someone talk about a letter with a circle around it, cast  onto the back of the baseplate. P for Pontiac etc... ?

I have never seen a primary shaft like that.  Looks like it would need some extra clearance.

Frank400:
Does it have "metric" idle mixture screws, the ones with the very fine threads ?  Does it look like they were sealed in the first place ?  I'm asking because 78 baseplates should have 10-32 mixture screws, and 79 and later baseplates have metric screws and 3 screws holding the baseplate to the main body.
