First Carb Rebuild

This will be my first post on this great website provided by a wonderful entrepreneur!  I have lots of experience with auto mechanics and I consider it my hobby. Carb rebuilding is the one thing that I have always shied away from except for the one on my chainsaw. Cliff's book gave me confidence and this website gave me courage to dive into the quadrajet on my wife's 76 Corvette.  Anyway,  I just wanted to introduce myself and let you guys know I will more than likely be calling upon you for your guidance in the near future.  Thanks for having me!   Greg

 Greg, Welcome to CHP!

I am just the numbers guy, but feel free to post any and all questions you have during your rebuild. Buy the parts from Cliff as well. Once again, glad to have you aboard! 8)

Welcome to the forum.  Get your parts from Cliff and dig in.

I spoke with Cliff last week and he sent me everything I could possibly need for the rebuild.  It didn't take me long to figure out he knew these quadrajets better than maybe anyone on the planet.  I then spoke with Debbie a couple days later to get my total debit.  Both She and Cliff are very pleasant people!
