new base plates?
« on: January 18, 2017, 03:33:36 PM »
So I work at an aluminum foundry and we make all sorts of parts for different companies. Any way, we were going through the old patterns and I came across something that looks fairly familiar. I hope the link works.

Pretty cool! Don't know if they were for Rochester, but still, pretty cool.

Yeah, unfortunately I can't take them out of storage to measure them to see if the are Rochester or Holley spreadbore. Wish I was allowed to cast some up and give a finished base plate to our machine shop to make a hundred or so new ones. I'm sure they would come in handy.
