Dirt oval track Qjet
« on: May 29, 2010, 03:49:00 AM »
I don't know much about the car but it's a 305 with stock manifolds, factory intake, & limited to .420 lift cam with whatever duration. I'm guessing 280 to 290 seat.

Question would it be on any benefit to run it without the power piston & rods?

I never use primary metering rods/power piston in circle track or other full race applications, there is no need for a "cruise" curcuit.....Cliff

The carb no. is 1705784, &  I'm thinking without rods the jets should be about 66. Does that sound right?
It's a large airbleed & had 71 jet & 41 rods.

Don't recognise that carb number?

We install custom airbleeds and jets in the large main airbleed models for running straight off the jets.....Cliff
