1973 Buick 750cfm
« on: February 08, 2019, 07:27:23 AM »
Cliff...I picked up another carb off eBay, it's officially a addiction...anyhow, this carb has idle air bleeds in the airhorn located next to the main(very small bushed type)and hold down screw...none of my other three carbs are like this, even my 1973 Buick 800cfm is not like this one, or the 1973 Cadillac....another difference is the Buick 750 doesn't use idle air bypass(not drilled in base and main section compared to the 800cfm.

Many early Buick carbs for the 350 engines will not have idle bypass air and upper idle bleeds in the airhorn....

It's an indirect bleed leading to the main nozzle, best to stay away from those but make sure they are not blocked.......Cliff
