I have a 17083224 Q/jet on a 83 c10 auto 350 that has a intake with the heat spring in the manifold and point system for ignition and will have an alum intake for this soon . any suggestions on kick down and choke set up ? Thanks

IMO an aluminum aftermarket intake will buy you nothing in performance over a stock Q jet intake.

17083224 has provisions for TH350 kick-down cable and for an electric choke.
And as said, no need to replace an original intake unless you´re aiming for 500hp or more.

X2 The aluminum intake with do nothing other than you will be able the say "I have an aluminum intake."
