TV cable bracket p/n

Anyone happen to know a part number for a 200-4r/700r4 TV bracket? I've looked online and all I can find is aftermarket stuff. And that is all universal/adjustable. I would kinda like a solid no chance of moving bracket, like factory so there is no chance of it slipping out of adjustment and killing a transmission. I could have sworn I had one that bolted across the back 2 holes of the carb but can't seem to find it.
I don't have an od transmission yet, but plan on it within the next year.
I have throttle shafts from OD quadrajets, so I can swap one in for the correct geometry there.

The type of bracket that bolted across the back 2 holes came on GM cars with the olds 307. TCI makes an exact copy of it, part # 376700. The chevy brackets bolted to one of the holes used to mount the coil on the old point systems. (The 2 bosses to mount the points coil were not deleted on the newer intakes.) and it also bolted down to a intake stud on the drivers side.
If you are running a small chevy, save yourself a ton of grief, Get a factory bracket. The olds & chevy OD throttle arms are different. I have found that the olds or TCI bracket is not compatible with a factory chevy throttle arm. I've had a 200-4 behind a BB chevy for 12 years now. Since chevy never produced a cable operated OD behind a BB (SB bracket wont bolt to BB intake) I fabbed up my own bracket by cutting & re-welding some SB brackets. I took measurements from the SB doner car and got it to work good. Using the olds/TCI bracket did not give me full pull on the cable at WOT using a factory OD chevy throttle arm. Hope this helps.

Well dang, looks like I'll be searching for the small chevy bracket then. And just to clear up MY confusion. The old th350 brackets are different correct.

I 'm not sure if the th-350 bracket is different. The carb throttle arm for a th-350 IS slightly different than a OD throttle arm, they look similar but have different pull rates.

Any SB, OD equipped car should have the correct bracket. Early, mid 80's trucks with the 700-R is a good source.

Found one from a LG4 (carbed 305) 700r4 camaro. 25ish bucks shipped. So hopefully, when indo find a 700 to rebuild, I can get a TV cable for a camaro and it will be close to right. I'll still throw a pressure gauge on the trans port, but it should be close.

Well I got the LG4 305 bracket installed today.

And ran into the following things.
1. The Kickdown cable for the th350 now fits without the adapter I had made up for the old throttle/detent bracket... odd but cool.
2. The throttle cable is now 2 inches short of reaching the pin on the carb throttle arm. It was 1 inch short before, probably the difference between a inline 6 and the v8.

So now I'm looking into throttle cables. I may try one from the same style F body that the bracket came from as it stands to reason it would have the proper bracket to carb dimension that I need.

The 76 250 cable is 20 inches with a mounting length of 11 inches

The 76 v8 cable is 21 inches with a 12 inch mounting length that would have fixed my original problem.

The correct cable for the bracket I now have ( 1985LG4 Firebird/Camaro) is 22 inches which SHOULD give me the 2 inches I need....but the mounting length is 11.93 inches. Which is only .93 inches longer than the cable i have now.
Anyone know what they are referring to with mounted length?

The bracket, Trans & TV cable we all plucked from a 86 Monte SS on my set-up.

I did have to switch throttle cables. My original cable had the rubber grommet mount and the ball stud type attachment. My car is a 73 chevelle. I got a later model type cable with the squeeze tab type mount from a 76 chevelle, worked out good.

If I were to guess I would try a V8 cable for your year car if it was originally inline 6.

I had thought about that. But the original bracket the cable was one inch short so I had an extension.
The factory v8 cable is 1 inch longer. So that would have worked. But now it is 2 inches shy with the third gen f body bracket.
The cables are only 25 bucks. Maybe I'll order both the 76 v8 cable and the 84 f body cable and see which is better. Hate to do it that way though.

Well, on further investigation,  the same year Camaro as my Nova (76) uses a 22 inch throttle cable. The same one by part number as the Camaro/Firebird that the throttle bracket came from. Interesting.  Looks like I found the part I need.
