 That's a really good pressure regulator, and the best part is it's American made.

 I do see just a slight amount of pressure variation with the temperature, about a pound or two at most from what I've seen so far. Does yours do that at all?

Seems to hold steady @ 6.5 lbs. Gauge is under the so I can't check it at WOT.

Did you use your original tank?

Dualquad, Tanks Inc. makes a tank for a 69 Chevelle for $175. It's ready for an electric pump.
You can use theirs or buy your own. I think this is your best bet. You'll spend more time and money welding up you existing tank.

Oh, and If you want it to look stock you can mount the regulator back on the frame rail before it goes into the tank. (this is the return line).
