Question, I thought I had read on here somewhere that it's possible to use a front mounted style of choke pull-off on the 80's truck carbs that came with the rear mounted choke pull-off.
Was i dreaming, or is it possible, and if so, how do you make the linkage work?
Because of the design of the air horn on these with the rear pulloffs, the stop tab is not in the correct location if you use an air valve shaft with the slot in it for a front mounted pull-off. How can you do this? What modifications are necessary?
Thanks in advance for any advice regarding this.
Rick
PS: im trying a truck carburetor to see if my issues are with my engine or the Cadillac carb, #17057230, that's been giving me a headache for months.
Im gonna try a 17084226 and see what happens. This one is unmolested, and if had it on a 327 and it worked great. But to use it on my Burb I have to remove the rear pull-off.
