What is the correct float height for carb 17080212 with 0.135" seat and brass float? Using with a mechanical fuel pump, a pressure regulator set to 5-5.5 PSI, mounted on a 454 street/stock setup.

Rochester never used brass floats for any Quadrajet, with the original type nitrophyl float the setting is 3/8".

Thank you. The float has a brassy color, so I assumed it was brass; I have no idea! 😁

NEVER use a brass float in a Quadrajet. They do not produce the same fuel level as the far superior nitrophyl floats and since 2005 the brass floats are made in Taiwan and will leak at the soldered joints and sink......
