I need more fuel so I'm looking for some CC rods (0.030") tip or equivalent. I don't have a lathe or I would make some out of junk ones.

True and square is not such a big deal. They 'flop' around a bit.
Diameter is the key. Just breath on them with a jewelers file and mic them as you go.
Sneak up on it.
