Ideal AFR fuel curve - dyno results
« on: March 18, 2026, 07:25:01 PM »
Some years ago I posted about a funny shaped fuel curve. After doing some dyno test recently, I believe I have sorted it out. It made 609 hp and 614 ft lb with a nearly perfect AFR curve, still a little fat. What I had to do:
Typical primary recipe
0.149" N/S
0.146" sec jet discs
Smoothed and enlarged passages in the floor under the discs
0.067" tip rods
Rear air door max opening set at 1.190" (1.230" made the same power)
Sec discharge nozzles shortened and angle-cut
sec air bleeds to 0.022", orifice at the top, soldered the bottom shut, 4 x 0.018" lateral emulsion holes at the bottom
POE re-fill orifice at 0.030"
Stock POE exit holes at 0.050"
