OK, the fuel line is just a piece of 3/8 (or 5/16 sometimes) with two 45 degree double flare fittings (male threads). scrounge the junkyards or possibly get the fittings from an auto parts store like NAPA. you can fab your own line with the help of a flaring tool and a small tubing bender. The other option would be to use hose nipple fittings in the pump/filter housings and rubber fuel hose. I would make sure to get the "fuel injection" type of hose as it is more compliant for the "new" fuels these days that contain alchohol. (I believe the fuel injection hose has the "9R" stamped on the hose). It is also less prone to absorb heat. If you do not have experience using a flaring tool, practice on some scrap tubing first as it takes a few trys to get the hang of it.
Ok, now for the next problem, the carb you have does not look like it has a provision for a kickdown from what I can see. (kinda looks like a manual trans equip. carb) Usually the kickdown cable is positioned towards the inside and down and the accel.cable is up and out (from the center of the carb. (as you can see from the bracket for the cables what the approximate orientation is). when the accel. is pressed, the t.v. cable is pulled forward (as the accel cable goes backwards towards the firewall). You may have to modify the throttle shaft or swap it out for a different one. I believe the lower holes on that shaft/linkage are for a return spring that goes towards the rear and hooks the spring to the cable bracket. (on the manifold)
It will be difficult to change this carb to an electric choke. I think there is a aftermarket
kit somewhere to do this but i do not know for sure where I saw it. As far as using original parts, It is possible, but the parts are hard to come by. If it were me, I would go without a choke. I've started my Pontiac at 13 degrees F without a choke, jus had to feather the throttle a bit and let her warm up for a minute. Anyway, good luck with the Pontiac!!
