Removing Loctited Screws

Is the proper way to remove Loctited shaft screws by using heat to melt the Loctite? A small butane torch good enough? Much danger of warping the shaft or throttle plates?

If loctite was used to install them, heat the shaft at each screw with a propane torch for about 15 seconds, they will come right out.....Cliff
