Primary POE 7040263
« on: June 07, 2011, 03:21:50 AM »
The primary POE circuit serves two purposes, primary fuel supplement and secondary emulsion air.  I have read where one can simply remove the primary POE tubes to disable the circuit.  But, one would no longer have secondary emulsion air.  What would be the proper way to disable the primary POE circuit?  Does one need the secondary emulsion air?

Thanks

I've seen the tubes removed, front holes blocked off, and very tiny holes drilled down thru the top of the casting to add some emulsion air.

The Ford 429 carbs didn't use any emulsion tubes at all.  Just expect to have to fine tune the secondaries with larger diameter metering rods if the system is removed.....Cliff
