While selling qjets on the net, I was contacted by a guy who had a dualjet that was not working properly, so I had him bring the carb out and I rebuilt it using a recipe #1 as his application was mostly stock. Later I got to wondering how many car guys out there are still using the stock 2 barrel setup and how much performance can be gained from modifying carbs like the dualjet. I know that for all out performance, the 4 barrel carb is more widely accepted, but aren't there racing classes that require 2bbl carbs? Any comments or feedback is welcome.
