I rebuilt my '75 Q-Jet following Cliff's book and advice. This was my first experience with rebuilding a carb. Bought the HP kit, re-bushed primary shaft, installed smaller MABs and primary jets/rods, installed APT screw, and adjusted valves/linkage per instructions. I thought my car ('76 vette) ran pretty good before, but this rebuild totally transformed the way my car starts and drives. Even my erratic transmission shifting is solved now. Throttle response is dead on too.
