Info on small screw under triangle tab.What yr.

Looking for info on this subject, did pontiac carb.s ever run tops without them?? seen em on 67,s 8,s 9,s, reason for my inquiry
i have 4 tops without these screws are they a Buick or Olds top then??? email me anytime at rbudney@comcast.net

Can you post a picture?  I do a bunch of Buick quadrajets and not sure what you are referencing here.

I would wager that they are replacement tops, and probably Chevy parts at that.
I have noticed that only the Pontiacs used the larger secondary bleed hole, which is probably easy enough to modify from another carb top plate which has the pre-existing smaller hole.

I can't immediatly speak of Buick carb tops, but the 4MV & 4MC pre-1975 Oldsmobile and Chevy carb tops I have could be swapped in place of the original Pontiac part...
