I rebuilt this 17084292 carb about 4 years ago with one of Cliff's kits. At that time it was on a stock 350 in my 77 Silverado. It performed pretty well. It has sat on the shelf for 2 years while I built a new engine for the truck and now I'm trying to get it dialed in on this one. Can't seem to get it to run right. Doesn't want to stay running at idle unless I bump the RPMs up to over 1000. Lots of bogging too. I'm going to check the fuel pressure tonight to verify it isn't too high. I may need to pull the carb apart and give it a good cleaning too since I just bolted it back on there.
Any suggestions on jet/rods that I should be using based on this engine?
