idle air tube
« on: December 18, 2013, 07:50:51 AM »
Hello I'm a new guy.
I have a qjet 10759253 for my 1979 trans am 403 I'm restoring.
I just received a rebuilding kit from Cliff with new idle air tubes.

The brass tube next to the idle air tubes have been removed. I think I'm in trouble.
Any info on repairing this would be great.
Thank you
Wes

Next to the air/idle tube is the down channel restriction.  Not a tube.  Can you post a picture?

I spoke to Cliff he's sending me 2 brass plugs that belong in the down channel restriction passage.
That should take care of it.
Thank you for your help
